Before you transfer
A domain transfer changes the registrar or management provider. It does not automatically move your website, email or DNS hosting.
Have these ready
- Access to the domain at your current provider.
- The transfer or authorisation code where the extension requires one.
- Access to the registrant email address if approval is required.
Keep your services running
If the nameservers stay the same during the transfer, your existing website and email normally continue to use the same DNS configuration.
